The Collectors

The collectors is a quirky documentary shedding light on six dedicated collectors from all over Ireland. With the use of smartphone cameras they open their homes and share their passions and devotion to their precious hoards from coke cola and comic books to lego and Porcelain dolls.
Produced by Jean Devlin for RTE, the grade and online was completed at EGG by Nik Panteris and Alan O’Sullivan.

Egg at the Galway Film Fleadh!

It’s Summer at long last and with Summer comes 99’s, beer gardens, Mr Freezes, hope of sun burn, freckles and the fun and festivities of the Galway Film Fleadh! Celebrating film the only way the Irish can, in its 28th year and affectionately known as the “Cannes on the Corrib” the festival features 150 films from more than 30 countries around the world, including 16 world premieres. And this year we are proud to have been involved in three of the films featured in this years line up.
On the 7th of July TIGER RAID is screening in the Town Hall Theatre. It’s a tense thriller with superb performances by Brian Gleeson, Damien Molony, Sofia Boutella, & Rory Fleck Byrne. The Director, Simon Dixon will attend the screening.
Saturday the 9th of July, Irish crime drama CARDBOARD GANGSTERS has its Premiere. Produced by Richard Bolger (How to be happy) Written and starring John Connors (Love Hate) with Mark O’Connor who also directs, the film is a dark gritty story of Dublin drug gangs. The screening will be attended by the director and cast members.
Also on Saturday 7th of July is the Irish Premiere of Scottish, Welsh and Irish co production MOON DOGS. A coming of age comedy, it tells the story of two step brother’s adventures with a wild free-spirited girl as they travel to Glasgow. Having already screened in the Edinburgh Film Festival, it garnered great reviews from critics and audiences alike. Award winning Director Philip John will attend the screening.
